The perfect leash didn't exist, so we built it. We wanted something ultra lightweight and extremely packable, but didn't want to sacrifice any strength. UHWMPE rope is used in automotive winches and harsh nautical applications. Rated at 1000 pounds, it's tough enough for even the most enthusiastic puller!
When you tie a knot in rope, its strength can be reduced by up to 50 percent. Our Minimus Adventure Leash is intentionally hand spliced to retain the full strength of the hollow core UHWMPE rope. This leash is over built and ready for even the most enthusiastic puller.

The Wildkai Mad Men Minimus Adventure Leash has a polyester webbing handle for comfort and a 7/64 Inch UHMWPE Rope section to ensure the entire leash only weighs 29 grams! It can easily fit in a pocket when not needed but still holds strong.
The Mad Man collar is made of the same soft, odor-resistant polyester webbing and is secured with a plastic Duraflex buckle.

Shop leashesExactly the type of lightweight leash I was looking for. Small enough to put in my pockets and light enough than when I drop it while attached to my 10 lbs dog he barely even notices. I use this for quick bathroom walks at night. I got the shorter 4 foot one and love it. Might buy another to have as a spare in my car.

These are seriously my favorite leashes EVER and I always get asked about them and send them right here!! They go everywhere with me. Obviously perfect for hiking, especially when we go off leash I dont have to lug around a leash, this just fits in my pocket. Same goes for sports, I cant leave my leash behind because its in my pocket!! And it has been ESPECIALLY awesome for my sensitive dogs, its not heavy enough to add any unintentional pressure with me holding it or them dragging it!!

This ultralight yet durable leash Has been on multiple overnighters with me. My dog is an energetic little blue heeler. She pulls and it has held up so far. I don’t see failing any time soon either. Biggest plus for me is the weight, it’s practically nothing.

My favorite leash. We have two dogs, a pom and a Newf. Strong enough for the newf and light enough for the pom (some leashes are too heavy) simply the best leash. I mod ours a bit with knots to make it fit my wrist better
